What is Extra Life?

Extra Life is a fundraiser done by Gamers to support the Children's Miracle Network. The donations go directly to the hospitals and each person/team chooses the hospital they want to support. We chose Gillette's Children's Hospital in the Twin Cities.

When is Extra Life? 

Our fundraiser will be Nov 5th and Nov 6th, 2022 from 9am to 9pm.  Extra Life encourages Gamers to spend 24 hours gaming and collecting donations for their local Children's Miracle Network hospital.

What kinds of things are you going to do for Extra Life? 

We are going to be running games with table fees for the day. We are hoping to have events across all aspects of gaming. Board Games, RPG's, Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, Warhammer 40K, Malifaux, whatever we can come up with! We're looking into running a Silent Auction, plus, we'll be running our d20 sale with extra rolls going to Extra Life (that one seemed a pretty easy choice!) Since it's also our 1-year anniversary in this location and our 17-year anniversary overall, we're working on some other special things that we'll share as we get closer.

Wow! that all sounds great, what can I do to help? 

Thanks for asking! We have a couple of things that people can do right now! 

1. We are looking for some sponsors. We'd love to have some treats for the people playing hard for Extra Life. We're not picky, and we'll be providing some, but if you'd like to help us with treats, we'd love to advertise your business as a sponsor of our event.

2. Put together a basket for the Silent Auction. Assemble your items in a container of some type (a cardboard box is fine; we'll wrap some shiny paper around the box and make it look great!) and drop them off at the Shoppe.

3. Sign up for an Extra Life account and join our team. You can start fundraising now.  Here's the link to our team.

4. If none of those work for you, come in on the 5th, bid on items, start your Christmas shopping (we'll even wrap them for you) or donate a couple of dollars to play in one of the fundraiser events.
